Frequently Asked Questions

Is the $5 a one-time fee?+
Yes. You pay $5 once to enter. Your ad stays on the wall as long as you survive the weekly eliminations.
What happens if my ad is in the bottom 10?+
Nothing until September 30. Founding season is protected, so no ad is archived before that date. After it ends, bottom 10 ads get an email warning on Sunday night and have until Tuesday midnight to pay $3 to survive. If you don't pay, your ad moves to the archive. You can re-enter anytime for $5.
Can I vote for my own ad?+
Technically yes, but gaming the system defeats the purpose. Votes are tracked per device. Mass voting from one source will be flagged.
How long does my ad stay up?+
Every ad is safe through founding season, which ends September 30. After that, as long as you keep getting votes and surviving the weekly round. There's no expiry. Just weekly competition.
What kind of ads are allowed?+
Any legitimate business. No adult content, illegal services, scams, or misleading claims. Violation means permanent removal with no refund.
Do I get a refund if my ad is archived?+
No refunds. The $5 entry is the cost of competing, just like entering any competition.
Who can vote?+
Anyone visiting the site. Voting is free. One vote per ad per IP address. We track votes by IP to prevent abuse.
